2008 Events We did it! $100,000 raised for ALS research! Movies for Research - Thank you to everyone who joined us at the historic Riverview Theater in Minneapolis for "Movies for Research: Scott Stafne ALS Research Fund" on December 9th. We had a great turnout and raised over $7,000--more than double our goal for the event! MDA Stride and Ride - The Stafne Supporters gathered together on October 11th to raise awareness and money for ALS research at the 2008 MDA Stride & Ride in Edina, MN. A beautiful fall day encouraged many of our team members to walk--even Santa joined the team as one of Scott's Jocks! ALSA Walk to D'Feet ALS - The Stafne Supporters, or Scott's Jocks, teamed up for the ALSA walk in Minneapolis on September 27th 2007 Events Rock Beats ALS Benefit Concert June 22, 2007 Thank you for rocking with us at the 2nd Annual Rock Beats ALS Benefit Concert! The bands were amazing and we raised awareness and nearly $1000 for ALS research! What a great night! So Much So Fast Film Screening May 5, 2007 Thanks to everyone who made the So Much So Fast showing a success. We raised awareness with over 200 people in attendance and raised about $3000 for the Scott Stafne ALS Research Fund. ALS Crop & Craft Craft Day March 10, 2007

2005-2006 Events Brooklyn vs. ALS Fun Run October 14 Raised over $850 for ALS research! Thanks to Pete Prince and friends for organizing this event. A Family & Friends Affair Golf Tournament September 10, 2006 2nd Annual Golf Tournament hosted by Techware raised over $12,000 for ALS research. The first golf tournament in Scott's honor was held September 25, 2005 and raised $7,550 for ALS research--so the total raised for this event is almost $20,000 in two years! Joe Knows...Do You? Bike Tour of MN August 19-26 Thanks to Joe Wurl for his Joe Knows bike tour of Minnesota from north to south! Joe raised an amazing amount of awareness and over $400 for ALS research. Tour for a Cure Paddleboat Cruise July 16, 2006 Tour for a Cure raised over $13,000 for ALS research! - Our first BBQ Paddleboat Cruise & Silent Auction held July 16th was a 3 hour hot & humid tour. Over 250 attendees enjoyed entertainment by the Minnesota Dixies and the cruise donated by Andiamo. Rock Beats ALS Benefit Concert June 10, 2006 Rock Beats ALS raised over $3000 for ALS research! Thanks to Alva Star, The Mood Swings, Mighty Fairly, and The Crime Novels, 89.3 The Current, and co-chairs Sarah Henry and Mischa Suemnig, and everyone who gave freewill donations to support our fund. Crop & Craft Craft Day May 13, 2006 ALS Charity Crop & Craft Day raised over $2500 for ALS research! Thanks to the generous and creative crafters who made this event so successful and to Nancy Immediato for organizing the day's presentations, silent auction, and delicious food! Kingdom Project January-February 2006 Raised over $2700 for ALS research! Thanks to Sandy Sokolik and her participation in the St. James Church Kingdom Project, over $2700 has been raised for the Scott Stafne ALS Research Fund. Thank you to all of you who supported Sandy, and Scott, and those of you who are continuing to raise money for research with your own Kingdom Projects! Ironman Wisconsin September 11, 2005 $4,400 raised for ALS research! Jonathan Jones, an amateur triathlete and friend of Scott, generously raised funds for ALS research by taking part in his second Ironman Triathlon. Holiday Fund Drive $10K+ raised by 1/1/2005! Thank you so much for your generosity. With your help we have EXCEEDED our goal and raised over $10,800 for ALS research in less than two months! We continue to be blessed and impressed with your donations and the hope you've given us for progress in ALS research in the short term. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
