Big Sister

Eva loves her new baby sister Miranda. She is such a good helper! Last night she came into our room when Miranda cried; "shh, shh" she said, and sang her a lullaby. She also ran to get a fresh diaper out of her room for the baby at 2:00 AM! Will the novelty wear off? We hope not.

Miranda Roxanne Stafne

We are jumping up and down excited to announce the arrival of Miranda Roxanne Stafne! She was born on Monday afternoon, and everything went very smoothly. Technically, Eva was the only one actually jumping up and down, as mommy is a bit tired, and daddy's jumping days were over a few years ago. But that's how thrilled we are to introduce our second baby girl.

She is absolutely beautiful, and we're so excited to begin our family adventure as a foursome.

Big Sister Preparations

Eva is ready to be a big sister. Not only did she help us arrange the room and put the crib together, she's been officially trained in.

On Monday we took her to a Big Sister, Big Brother class at the hospital. She diapered and swaddled her "baby" and learned about washing your hands before touching the baby and how to be gentle when holding a baby.

I think she's ready...and now that the taxes are done, we all are!
